Mm that makes things a little more difficult ha I'm not sure how the aiming works on the fxrs but if I were you'd I'd put them on the vehicle to verify aiming first! Just do little "tack welds" of jb weld or whatever your using to get it close then test em out so if all else fails you can just dremel the little but of hiding material and move them

Andrew, Are the TRS LED Strips available? I was going to add them to my order but I don't see them listed.

They are in stock and ready to ship, but cannot be discounted, especially at 25%, unfortunately.

    Thanks!

Like Afroman said, idk that I would go 55w. Yes it would be brighter (a little), but it's also going to run much hotter.

After you get them where you think is close and have the secured, you could hook them up to a drill battery, I would assume 12v. This may be dumb but I would try it lol.... you could remove the bulb and shine a flashlight through the projector to get an idea how level the cutoff shield is.

With all the money you would be saving on the retro kit, you can just buy the strips!!

If both of you guys get in then this round will ship!!!

They come with a test lead to hook it up to a battery and test em before hand

bump.ready to pull the trigger with a few questions outstanding. read entire thread, lol, but seems most bought the morimoto 35 watt ballast which is no longer listed. also, are the new osram D2S 5000k bulbs worth another $100, and is there still a delay on any of the linked parts as I have recently read about? thanks again all.................

Lol I'm out of ideas, I don't have the truck with me to test it.....
So just eyeball it and powered it on with a battery.

    But is the horizontal good.....?

I'd say that's pretty damn close but if it were me I wouldn't permanently secure the projector till I had tested it on the truck..

X2 they are horizontally as close to perfect as you'll get as long as that's how the housing will sit in the truck.

So the horizontal is just to see if the projector is mounted crooked?
So as long as it is horizontal, it is good?
