    It's not the rust (kind of) it's the pitting.. my last ones started to pit, ordered new uniballs even.

    edit: I guess you could say the pitting is rust..

    saw a truck just like yours near my house yesterday on the way back from houston. thought it was you got up next to it and it was some mexican. got all excited for nothin lol unless in the future you sold your truck to a mexican and in that case your truck worked?

    Yessir. I just wanted to keep like products together or go with something new.

    Pitting is localized galvanic corrosion, and SS and other alloys are susceptible to pitting corrosion... So if you're seeing that on SS ball joints I'd be VERY concerned because pitting tends to be much more severe and aggressive than uniform or general oxidation.

    No, I had the TC UCAs that came without SS uniballs and bought replacements but never got around to it. Certain vendors you order them from come with SS uniballs though, like DSM and I think ToyTec.
