Hey guys. I am so freaking happy!!!!!!!

I posted this thread a few weeks ago about my carrier bearing

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/292817-how-tell-carrier-bearing-bad.html

I was getting all kinds of clunking and knocking at take off and really bad vibrations at take off and at certain cruising speeds.

I replaced my u-joints a month ago and it helped the squealing and a little shutter but the problem was still 100% there.

I had spaced my carrier bearing about .5"s but after trying to figure out where the vibes were coming from I spaced it out about 1" and it completely got rid of everything I was experiencing!!!!!

By the way my truck is lifted 8"s...

    Here's what I did.....

You can get all of the parts at Lowes.

Here the parts list and the total cost was $12.58

2 packs of zinc steel spacers: 1/2"x5/8"x1.5"
1 pack of 10mm flat washers
2 packs of metric fine pitch m10-1.25x75 bolts
1 pack of 10mm split lock washers

I will probably go back and get larger washers for better displacement

So far everything works awesome...I retourqed everything after a few trips and still no vibes. This has solved all my worries and headaches!!!

Before I did this mod the driveshafts were in no way aligned. Now they are perfectly straight to the eye
