i've also got one similar to this. it's a mossberg bk 395 k from mid 60's. step dad picked it up from a garage sale. needs more work than it's worth other than a 4 wheeler gun and i got it for free, and it still works. bolt action 12 ga with a 2 round magazine and adjustable choke. i thought it was an old school black powder .50 when he first brought it in.

Your Mossy 395. If it's smooth some nice rifled slugs or hexolite's should perform good with the length

honestly, i couldn't tell you with 100%. i got it about a week before i left for afghanistan. i took it out once, but didn't really look it over. i was just checking to see if/how it functioned. i'm gonna use it as a test dummy for re-bluing the barrel. i don't really shoot slugs, though.

yeah, it's early-mid 60s, i didn't expect it to be fancy. still pretty fun to try to shoot quickly and accurately though.

haha, that goes back to a father's day float trip - 5 years ago. social d and whiskey were the driving forces behind several terrible ideas that led to a great weekend.

i like the ramones, but the misfits are hit or miss. just like bands like minor threat - while it's cool they started the straight edge movement, i only like a few of their songs.
