    Got my block heater installed, was happy to find the local dealer had several in stock. It's way more of a pain on the 2012+ model since Toyota decided to put a bracket right in the way.

    Took several extensions, a U-joint and a breaker bar to get the bolt broken loose and then some tweaking on the bracket after I got it in to get the bracket to bolt back up (it was wanting to interfere with the heater. Luckily putting it back on I finally figured out how to get my impact on it, which got it back in a hell of a lot quicker.

    It'll take a way for the skin to grow back on my knuckles.

    Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
    Alright guys, need your help. I've been having driveline vibrations, bad. Ujoints are fine and the angles are fine too. everything is within spec. I decided that it was most likely the driveshaft phase/balance. So today i went and bought a new driveshaft from toyota parts yard here in sacramento.

    Put the new one in and I'm still getting the vibrations.. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE? Tranny mounts? tranny? something non driveline related? I'm all out of guessing.

    I need to see if I can get time off work and get it into a shop. This sh*t is pissing me off.

    washed and waxed for the 1st time in a year... then it thunderstormed. Also ordered a scangauge. Pretty excited to install it b/c I want to monitor my transmission temps when engine braking down some of the steep mountain passes around here
