siiick video miles haha u guys pretty much went everywhere we went.

im thinking of doing that today if anyone else is down. i do gotta put some work into my motorcycle later but thats for after noon time

 

my avg dropped to 16.9 this morning. I wonder how much more it'll drop when i'm finally done.

 

My avg went up from 14.6 to 14.7 yesterday! For the KP tank I got 15.8 avg. even after using 1/4 of a tank idling in H1 traffic on Saturday.. Wonder what it would have been if that hadn't happened

 

I would love to see 14 mpg lol. I only used the locker once on that steep climb. If Phil's monster had to be in 4wd I knew my little truck would have to have the extra help

I need you to teach me how to use my DSLR xmods... your pictures are phenomenal. Are you spending a lot of time in post for these?

 

Why thank you. Pretty much just always bracket, then you can decide later if you want HDR or not (both the pictures above are HDR, along with almost all of my other pictures)

It's not too much time in Photoshop once you know how to automate. Probably a few minutes on the first RAW file, then I let Bridge apply the same tweaks to all the files. Then I have Photoshop automatically open, high pass sharpen, and save as a PNG. All while I'm watching TV

Then if its HDR, I use Paintshop to stack them. That can't be automated so it takes about 2-3 minutes per series. Really not bad at all.

I used to spend hours and hours on my pictures until I figured out how to create my own automation, then it became so much more productive.

The black and white with color takes about 10-15 minutes extra since I have to do them by hand.

 

Ya sorry Nate ended up having to run some errands... If I can finish all my work tomorrow I'm gunna go play in the sand. Some time around 2 or 3 i am guessing

2wd does perfectly fine as long as it isn't super muddy. And you air down if you go in any of the sand.

Was it just me or did anyone else see that Jetta parked in the middle of the trail half way in?

 

there were a few cars pretty far in and I was wondering that myself lol

 

Maybe they have the hover craft mode on there car. Just like the Delorean in back to the future.
