N fab step bars vs Predator step bars for my 10 tacoma? What r the pros and cons?

Can't decide on between N fab or Predator step bars for my 10 tacoma. What r the pros and cons? Anyone have pics?

 

I have the N-fabs. I like the clean look and they've held up well.

 

Nice truck! R those 2 or 3 inches? how much did u pay for them?

 

They look like the same ones i was gonna get, i think it's $480 for the pair, pretty reasonable

 

I have the 3". I think I paid around $450. They were on sale at the time if I remember correctly.

 

I put on the Go-Rhino steps. Went stainless steel because I didn't want to have to worry about rust or chipping. I think the 3' looks better than the 2'. 3' hids the welds better IMO...

 

If you go with Nfabs, get the Smittybilts. They are exactly the same (the step plate even says Nfab) and they cost about $100 less.

 

What is the general consensus for cheapest place to get these? I missed out on a local deal for $160 months back and am still kicking myself for that one.

 

Anyone have pics of the Predators? What's the difference between the N Fab's vs the Predators?

 

Here is a pic of my 2013 DCSB with Predator Side Rocker Rails. Does not appear to be much difference between the N Fab's and the Predators...

 

I believe the only real difference between the two is that N-Fab offers the option of 2" or 3" main tubing and the other only offers a 2". I have the 3" on mine. The 2" look too small on our trucks IMO.

 

neither are sliders......lol jk jk.. they look at a lot alike.. guess it depends on your pocket book and how unique you want to be

 

Hey Lex...I have the 2" and agree with you...they do look small. Can you post some pics of the 3" rails on your truck? Would like to see them...

They also tuck in closer to the body than the 2"

I went back and did some checking. These are the ones I have. Ordered the Smittybilts from Auto Anything. "NFab" is embossed on the steps.

If you have a 4wp local to you, see what they have to offer. Picking them up from their store alone will save you a lot from shipping costs.

 

http://www.autosportcatalog.com/ is the cheapest I found the 2" N-Fab. I think they look fine as far as 2"-3" goes. Paid like $275 for mine but it takes about a month to get them for some reason.
