Wasn't planning on replacing the rotors but then I decided upgraded pads on stock rotors wasn't really worth it

And I found an aftermarket drain plug company... Goldplug.com

Good place to get a front diff drain bolt

New brakes have about 1000 miles on them now. Put them to the test at rausch creek last weekend. Tried a trail named 'brake check' that had 2 very steep descents. They worked great though.

How do you like the DSM UCA's? How long have you had them? Any problems with the uniballs?

I've had them for 2 years now. Around 50k miles on them. I had to replace the bushings once because when I installed them I over greased them and it made the bushings bulge and split. I also have a squeak in the front end which I believe is the uniballs but they still feel solid so I'm not going to replace them yet. I have tried a few different types of lube on them but nothing has worked very well... If that's where the squeak is coming from.

My advice would be to be careful with the brake line bracket screw (I stripped both the holes on mine), use Teflon tape when installing the zerks so that you can angle them in a direction you can reach with a grease gun, and only put a few squeezes of grease in them so you don't build up pressure in the bushings.

But I like them a lot.

    :D

lots of vibrations, squeaks, and hums, but I'm not worried about it. I have spares of everything important. I need to rotate the tires when I get the chance and see if that changes anything. Been too busy working on the house...

You ready for winter? My buddy just moved out to commerce city so I'll be out there a couple times for sure.

What kind of gloves did you get? I have a pair of grenade park gloves that are perfect but getting worn out. I'd like to replace them soon.

Plan is crested butte as long as they get a good base going and get substantial snowfall. Hoping early-mid January but ill play it by ear and see how the conditions go. The winter I worked there we got over 400" of snow so I'd feel really disappointed if we don't get some powder and access to teocalli bowl and the high lift

Yea anyone can make something similar, but for the price it's easier to get something that just needs to be installed. I've seen plenty of pics of people who tried to make a mount and now there's holes in their dash.

    Me too.

Ill keep that in mind. I just hope they get a lot of snow. Silverton would be sweet.. I've never been there
