    this and that...
i make everyone use paper plates, and plastic utensils. their drinks are relegated to bottle waters, vitamin waters, capri suns and sodas. only apple juice and milk go into cups (for my little one). why you might ask? i get tired of washing a million dishes day in and day out. thats why LOL. if you get lazy and leave the dishes in the sink for just one night, you might as well bend over and kiss your ass goodbye, cause youre fu...you know the rest. the dishes i make are usually from the pots and pans from the dinner i made. now if we eat steak, prime rib, or something from the slow cooker, real plated are used. i dont mind washing the dishes that night, cause we feasted like kings! LOL.

This thread is a real eye opener for me. I have never even thought of using paper plates for daily use. It seems like such a waste. I have never and will never, use them at home other then for large parties.

Nothing wrong with paper plates. Sometimes we use them. 9 times out of 10 regular plates, but sometimes for lunch or eating outside we use paper plates.

Cant believe how many use them on a daily basis. I dont even think I own any paper plates right now. Even camping we have some plastic camp plates we just wash after each meal.
Seems too wasteful and expensive to use paper all the time. Only time I use them is big parties, and we used to sometimes when camping but it's been a while.

We always keep paper plates on hand at home but we regularly use china plates. The good coated plates are getting expensive.

Normal plates at home, and paper plates at the cottage. To cut down on mess, I usually burn the paper plates.

Holy shit a bunch of grown-ass men complaining about doing dishes? Nearly 30% of U.S. landfills is paper and paper products, it takes longer to decompose than most think, AND it takes up tons of physical space in said landfills. Hopefully you guys that use them daily at least recycle?? Can't understand the reasoning behind that at all
