The wishful date was this weekend to go somewhere for Labor day. Now I am thinking sometime in the next 3 weeks, allowing time for some shakedown runs before Fall Crawl in Harlan Oct 19th wknd.

I like how it puts the ram on a pivot, instead of clamped to the axle. prevents side loading the piston and extends the seal life.

So I am thinking about cutting out the resonators and eliminating them in my new exhaust. It will eliminate some work moving things around for clearance, but I don't want it to sound too awful.

Anyone have any thoughts/experience running without the resonators???

put a single, larger resonator further back, after the y-pipe? parent's '01 sequoia came like that and it worked well.

Thinking I am gonna ditch them for now and I will save them in case I want to add them back elsewhere in the system.

1 Ton T1oo Master Cylinder has 1-1/16" bore instead of 13/16". Had to modify and remove two of the four mounting point on it, and extend the pushrod 2-7/8".

Eric came by last Friday to lend a hand again and we got some more things done too.

Hoops and crossbar final installed and welded:

    20130903_200009_zps5ada2942_06de4a1e0e44afd80504d036ad68b93fcd01f28c.jpg

Then installed the shocks and front DS and cycled things one last time before teardown. Good thing. The was a slight interference between the crossmember and the double cardan joint, and the DS was kinda close to the side of the skid too. So we made more room. :D

    20130830_165251_zps0a5c015f_a9493f45b996778edf91107a6f87be31c5733ab0.jpg

    Installed:

    And then we did this:
