I would say probably a 1.25" or 1.5" spacers for the front at least....

Alright guys, I know I haven't posted much (if at all) in this thread but I've been following it closely. So far I have the MaxTracs with brake lines, extended length Icon c/o's, Icon RR extended length 2.5's, and I'm going with the Dakar + D29xl. Tires are more than likely 285/75/16 Duratracs wrapped around Countersteer Offroads. Am I missing anything? I know new bump stops are in the near future, but I don't need them just yet.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm running Maxtracs with stock coils and 5100s set @ 0, and stock UCAs. Rear - AP expo leaf pack, extended 5100s, and a ubolt flip kit.

If running extended length coilovers you will need a set of after market UCAs. You probably already have them, but I figured I'd mention this in case not. Also with the extended rear shocks you'll need extended brake lines. Oh and you may have to mess with your bumps to ensure you are hitting them before collapsing the rear shocks. Carrier bearing drop might also be a good idea with the Dakars.

I do try to do as much offroading as I can.. And no probs at all. When I lifted my truck, I ran with my stock 16s and stick BFGs. I ran a 1.25" wheel spacer in front to clear the spindles. It didnt look retarded at all.

I have the UCA's already as well as the extended brake lines that came with the spindles. I'll look up what I can do about the stock bumps in the meantime before I buy new ones. As far as the carrier bearing drop is concerned, I remember reading about that so I'll have some washers in hand to measure the thickness of shims that I need should I need them. Good looking out!

I meant rear brake lines to go with the Dakars and extended length rear shocks, you'll need them becuase your stock brake lines at full droop will be too short ;)

So anyone actaully get before and after spindle measurements with stock coils and shocks?

Ran into some guy at the gas station on my way back from lunch and he says he got just over 3.25" of lift. He told me he took numerous measurements to confirm and seems like a pretty smart guy, but I have a hard time thinking this is the case. They were definitely Maxtrac spindles though and had painted the logo blue to match the truck, looked good.

Another retarded moment for me, had diff before :p
