Ive had the 16's and 17's on my truck, and had them both dipped, 16's often needed touching up cause I had pretty mellow tires on it, but with the 17's its been awesome, live in Calgary now and considering all the salt/snow they've held up great, even though I've got some curb rash on the beed doesnt wanna start pealing so Ill probably just spray over as a touch up.

Almost no one in Canada uses CB, most seem to go for VHF here.

That being said, try Omega Communications. They are on the highway by Kirschner road.

Went to Omega and they sent me to Cookson Motors, which in turn tried to send me to Omega. Cookson only had 3 radios and 1 antenna to sell and informed me they are getting out of it.

Yeah CB is basically dead. Pretty hard to find anything for it any more. When a radio communications shop won't carry the stuff you know it's over haha.

yeah its just a bummer because my parents bought me the radio years back and i never installed it. but my brother has his and a couple of his wheeling friends have em. not to mention my uncles with their old school rigs and CBs. Online shopping i suppose is the best way to go.

I personally don't know of any shop in town that wouldn't screw you big time for such a simple thing. There is a toytec dealer in Alberta, you can find it on the toytec website, and have it shipped here. Or have you thought of having it shipped to Oroville Washington, to a receiver, and picking it up? This option is only worth it, if you are buying a bit more stuff than an AAL tho.

    See ya around town!

Thanks, I actually had my wheels and Baja kit sent to Oroville just a few weeks ago, but the AAL was/is kind of an after thought...

Regardless if they are a rip-off, because that's kind of a given around here, it would be nice to know what local shops actually sell aftermarket stuff for the Tacoma?

    Cheers,

    Jay

Well, Crap It... er i mean Cap It got me shims for an okay price.
Truckworks bends you over, but will probably be able to get you what you need. Don't buy u bolts from them, you can get a 1" block and longer u bolts for the same price from toytec.

Have you tried Lordco, they always have random connections to parts dealers.

    GL,

    Danny

What are everyone's thoughts on doing a monthly meetup. Maybe head to the pub, do a meet and greet and possibly plan some trips. A little club would be great.
