Yessss!! 10! And yes, you were supposed to include your name in the comments section on the shipping page. If you didn't just shoot Andrew an email and it should be ok. His email is in the OP.

FX-R is a LOT more complicated.

AsianAnts wrote up a very good pictorial thread documenting the process.
BEFORE beginning, you will need to set up a jig in your shop to mount the unmodified housings. Place this jig in a repeatable location 15-20 or so feet from a clear wall.

Light 'em up (one at a time). On the wall, mark where the cutoff and step in the factory beam falls. Repeat for the other housing.

Now if it is not already bolted down, make sure you can positively relocate the jig where it is when you are ready to pre-aim the FXr units.

Follow standard procedure to cook and open the housings, remove the reflectors, hole-saw out the rear of the reflectors, drill for mounting screws, and mount the projectors. Reinstall the reflectors into the back of the housings and mount the open housings to the jig.

    Light 'em up.

Adjust the FX-R mounting screws until the cutoff and step are aligned with the tape. JB-Weld the mounting screws to lock them in, double check the aim, and reassemble the housings.

Mount in the truck and fine-tune the aim against a flat wall on a level surface at 20-25 feet.
The "steps" should line up directly in front of the projectors on each side.
The edge of the low side of the cutoff should be just a hair below the centerline of the projector. Different states have different requirements.... California says that the cutoff can be NO LOWER than 5" below center at 25ft. I've seen other specs that call for 2" below center at 20ft, and there's one posted on HIDPlanet that calls for 2.1mm below center at 20ft.

Sweet, I got a tracking number, they are on their way, im pumped!

I got the Mini H1 due to those being a little easier to install and a little cheaper. No Halo's. Now to find a write up about installing these. I know ive seen one on here before.

I have been looking up ALL the threads there are for rotational alignment.
Since I do not have a truck to put the housing back in for the aligning, I can only get it to as close as I possibly can before I jb weld it.

But before that, i am still confuse with some stuff, so if anyone can answer them, it will be great.

Okay so, our factory housing has 2 bolts we can turn to change the vertical (up and down adjustment) and horizontal (left and right adjustment). Is that correct?

So that leaves us with the rotational adjustment. The meaning of rotational adjustment is getting BOTH projectors to sit on the same level. So 1 wouldn't be more crooked than the other?

So if I light BOTH lights up and they are both level, then I am good?

Yes in a sense haha, as long as the housing doesn't mount slightly crooked from how you have it taped down then you're fine. The only problem I could see being present is if the projectors are pointed too far down in the bowl and there's not enough adjustment in the vertical bolt or even too high up. But if you get them both level together then even if they are tilted once they're put in then at least they'll be crookedly straight :p kinda hard to judge without being able to mount them physically

Ideally, rotational will be taken care of by the locating washer that installs on the threads of the projector. It has some play in it, so if the cutoff is not level, you can slightly rotate them, but not much. I can't really imagine why this would be totally off, unless something went wrong with the install, or the housing mounting locations are jacked up really bad.

When I installed mine, my passenger cutoff was a good 8-10" off from the driver cutoff, at 15-20' away. I was worried that I messed up the projector install, but started cranking away on the adjustment screw, and after what seemed like 540 turns with my ratchet, it lined up with the driver's side. Now, I don't know if I mounted it wrong, or if the reflector was just that far off adjustment to begin with (they were new housings). I wish I had now installed halogen bulbs in them, to at least see where they were, alignment wise, before I started, or at least looked behind the reflector when I had them apart to compare where the screw was currently sitting between the two housings.

As for adjustments, the reflector is attached to the housing using a 3 point system. One point is fixed, and cannot be changed. The top screw controls horizontal alignment (the screw that has a plastic cap over it), while the bottom screw controls vertical alignment. The bottom one is fairly difficult to get to, especially on the passenger side. I had to use a ratcheting box wrench, as my ratchet was too big to get on the screw with the windshield waster fluid tank right behind the housing (of course, you could remove it, I think it's only 2-3 bolts that hold it down).

So I went to track my package and I got this notice:

"Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office."

Anyone else get this? My apt complex is shit and doesn't notify you when you receive a package so tracking is the only way I can know where it is.

Haha nice. I chose the cheapest! Hopefully they have shipped and they just haven't updated my tracking. I already put my stock headlights back in and started tearing down my other set.

I see you're in VA so I would assume mine would get here either Friday or maybe even tomorrow if they have actually shipped since I'm a little closer to TRS.

Yeah it was like $11 for USPS and $12 for UPS, so it was a easy decision for me. I would assume yours would probably get there by Friday, but you never know with USPS lol.

You can't make that adjustment without the truck.
You can ballpark it by aligning the fence with the horizontal lines on the reflector, but don't JB weld anything or seal that housing until you can check them installed.

I was looking at a photo of a '13 a few minutes ago and it looks like the outer end of the reflector is angled up slightly.
