XD to Stock advice

I'm thinking of going from my xD wheels back to my stock prerunner wheels just looking for some input im going for more of a conservative look

 

What would some.of yall would do and why

 

Seeking permission? Do whatever you want.

 

Not seeking permission? Still do whatever you want.

This place is a mecca for people who can't do anything without asking if it's okay to people thousands of miles away who don't care anyway.

That depends upon how you want your truck to look. Why not switch them out for a while and see how that feels? If not you can always switch back!

 

I was mainly asking because the xds are 17's and the stocks are 16's its cheaper for my to buy tires for stock than the xds due to rim size...just trying to figure it out dont wanna make a 800$ mistake

I have 17 XD and I'm happy with them. I don't take it wheeling but when I eventually do I have the original steelies that I would put on because I don't want to mess up my pretty wheels.

If you are not wheeling, why not just keep the XD's on? If you are wheeling, I'd go for the less fancier wheels.

 

If i were you I would sell those xd wheels to the newbie down in new orleans extremely cheap.
