She's not that cool. I don't see her at mod day holding a wrench and installing parts

What do you guys think? All Pro or ARB?

I like to All Pro but the previous owner did a few mods I didn't know about at first. He welded the 3 part bumper together (which is not a problem to me) but he also Welded in a hitch mount inside the winch hole (behind the licesnse plate) for a removable winch. That could be good & bad. It could also be used as a front hitch but idk how much it could really hold.

I like the Arb because it is a little cleaner look with no modifications. I can mount a winch w/o any mods and it has the outer brush guards (to protect the headlights).

    (Thats just dirt BTW)

I am biased of course but I have my reasons.

ARB FTW, It has headlight protection, has had more impact R&D, and its more heavy duty compared to the All Pro.

It may not look as cool as other plate bumpers, but I think it performs a little better.

If you keep the all pro on, I would lower it a little, you need more gap between the bumper and your fenders or it will rub them when you off road.

Troy, will you make it on Saturday? Lake Stevens is only about a 25 min drive from Lynnwood. You aren't afraid I will give you shit for not signing up for Tough Murder, right?

As for the Oregon game at 1230, I do in fact have a TV, and basic cable (something like channels 4-21) that I never use. I also have a computer with a great internet connection and a decent speaker setup.

On the best girlfriend, is she out there passing you the tools and parts? Is she out on the trails with you?

Anybody coming up from Oregon, or just a long way off, feel free to bring you camping stuff and park at my place. You could probably set up camp in one corner of the property and I wouldn't notice. I only have 1 spare bed as well as the couch. If you want to sleep in the barn with the horse, that is okay too, but if he rolls on you, don't plan on getting up. He weighs about 1200 lbs.

Bring both up Saturday, and install one on my truck and one on yours then compare. If you don't like it, we can switch and see how the other one looks on my truck...I mean your truck.

She passes me tools, and handles my tool well. She doesn't like off-roading which is fine by me; we are not co-dependent like most couples and we appreciate eachother's independence. But, she is very good about reminding me how much money I spend on mods.

I will definitely be bringing both on Sat and will be looking to sell which ever one I do not end up with in the end. If you guys are intrested in getting the other one then I am sure we can work something out on Sat.

I agree about lowering the AP but its a pain in the ass to try to do it myself lol. The other side has a decent gap though.

:p Not to worry. The Browning Hi-Power is just a 9mm pistol.

I'll leave the .338 WinMag at home though.

Does anybody know if we have a hook up on TacomaWorld for ARB. If I do keep the ARB I will need to replace the Driver side "Buffer" pad. It's pretty tore up.

I at least started training for it for this year with more than beer curls. I went out for a 2 mile run about 3 weeks ago and I have done a few pull ups and I don't mean the diaper kind. If you do decide to show up, I can personally assure you that there will be food you can eat. Also at the haggens near my house, they have baguettes in the freezer section that my wife liked until she found out they have milk products. Some of that gluten free stuff isn't bad.

My wife is dairy and gluten/wheat free. Her wheat allergy is off the charts. I personally have recently developed a dairy allergy. For her and I both, we can do goat milk products but not cow.

Also to add to the list of attendees for Saturday, one of my coworkers may come by in his truck. He recently swapped his rear leafs out for some half ton Chevy leafs. It was already lifted, but he said the leaf swap was another 6 inches. Back bumper is about his nose height.
