And I thought I had it bad, I've been off my workouts since April when I strained two muscles in my left rotary cuff and one in my right. I think it heals and its good then it goes back out either working out or playing ball. I recently just started working out chest, biceps, and legs but nothing even close to my shoulders. How'd you hurt yourself? Sorry if I missed it

So thats what happens when you hit those wire fences.
Hope the brother wasnt hurt, and Robert gets decent insurance money.[/QUOTE]

I wonder how much he'd get for insurance, that suck if it wasn't even close enough to pickup another Tacoma

Not really. How many cyclists are in Sonoma and Marin counties? Thousands if not tens of thousands. I don't care to comment in whatever area you live in as I don't live there. However, in my area I've had drivers run me off the road multiple times, thankfully have never been hit. I see daily hundreds of cyclists riding with no regards to traffic law or to vehicles they are surrounded by. I have seen many instances of a cyclist riding dangerously, causing an incident, and becoming violently angry to the driver(s) especially when the incident forces them off their bike or causes damage, or a close call. Mountain biking at Annadel is no different, most riders there who I come across have no or little regard for the property or knowing their role on the totem pole to equine trail riders or hikers and joggers, or dog walkers. They bitch in local forums about bad raps as they mark a new illegal bike trail on their GPS. Everybody is guilty and everybody blames the other guy.

As a rider, cyclists damage their own community and don't take responsibility any more than drivers do. Cyclists in my area are WAY too aggressive on roadways.

In most experiences I have personally witnessed it is always the driver's fault even when it isn't, and that is the prevailing attitude far too often.

If it isn't yours, good for you.

A car backed out of a drive way and went straight into you on your side, IE you were hit by the trunk of their car?

From the way you described both of those instances of you getting "hit," it seems that you are equally at fault. If a car pulls out and you crash into it, it isn't because the car hit you, in both cases, as you wrote them, you hit both vehicles. Drivers not paying attention + you not riding like you should be = accidents.

This is why cyclists become victims, because their lack of cautious riding is the fault of someone else.

This, I already know one person that has died because of a logging truck not looking where they are turning and running the guy over. I come from an area of Oregon where biking is almost more prevalent then cars and people tend to know the rules of the road. There for I don't hear as much "accidents" happening. That being said there will always be people on bikes that think they own the road because they are on a nonpolluting form of transportation, which is also kinda wrong. I like to think that it is a much healthier form of transportation but don't think it gives me anymore privileges then being in a car, there are just going to be people everywhere that think otherwise.
I wouldn't care either way who's fault it is, but that is still a hit and run. Have the human decency to make sure the person, more vulnerable to injury, is ok. I sure wouldn't want the death of someone that even ran into my car on my conscious if I could help it

Did not get the plate each time. I was too freaked at the fact that this just happened and in pain. The guy who was two blocks from me didnt' live there and the cops said the people in the house didn't know what they were talking about.

TailDrag, I'm going to be straight up with you. You ALWAYS challenge me on this forum and I dont' know why. Perhaps you feel a need to feel superior by targeting a woman.

I was riding in a bike lane, and someone backs out of their driveway and hits me with the back bumper corner. I applied my brakes just as they hit me. Perhaps I should have pedaled faster and I would have passed him.

The other one, the person came quickly out of the parking lot, she didn't stop at that stop sign at the exit of the lot. I was riding in the street at the time, crossing the front of that exit.

If you think it's my fault, I really dont care. If it makes you happy, I had to pay for my own medical bills and my bike damage. I didn't sue, I didn't blame anyone for leaving the scene. I just wanted to go home and rest.

You seem to have it out for cyclists, pointing out that a MAJORITY of them are jerks and tend to blame drivers. You say that on bike forums they discuss this. Please tell me where you see this because I run the largest cycling site in the world (YES, THE WORLD - internationally membership count wise) and I don't see this.

If you feel that you need to follow me around and reply to my posts IN OTHER THREADS TOO you really have something going on about me. What is it?

BT, I will not bother with anybody who pathetically pulls a "woman" card. Apparently I was right when I felt you choose to be the victim. First, because you're a cyclist, and now, because you're female.

I hope your children (if you have any) don't follow in your poor little footsteps. Consider being a strong female instead of the victimized, helpless, picked on female? Sorry you're such an empty, spineless "woman."

Put me on ignore if you feel like I'm textually abusive to you. You'll be ignored also.

I'm not puling the woman card, I'm just having to point how much of a man you are. You don't pick on anyone else but me. So now you target me because I'm a cyclist? How come you don't pick on the men? Is this some kind of weakness you have?

Glad that you feel I'm an adult, there has to one of us between us two. The only victim I am is of you trolling me. The only luck I need is to have you back off of me.

It's sad that you have to do this over the internet. Why do you call me names and talk about children (if I have them)?

I'm officially asking you not to reply to me or follow me any more and I won't reply to you. Now back off.
