It did sound pretty nasty in the video. I do agree with Brian though in that you kept yourself in the ruts, which is a bad thing for those of us with IFS. The tie rods are a weak point, so the keep the stress off them I try to keep the edge of one of my tires constantly biting on the side of the ruts. This reduces the stress on the tie rods and other steering components. As for the actual CAUSE of the noise, I really have no clue. It was never a constant.

I am about to bite the bullet here and get my tires. Since I do have a limited budget I am looking at Treadwright.com and considering the 285/75R16 size of the Warden brand. They finalize out to about 32.8 inch tires. I would like the "E" rated tire, but according to them, only the "D" rated tires are fully retreaded from bead to bead. Not a bad deal on the tires at $138 each for that size. What do you think? I want the AT instead of the GuardDog because I want tread life and reduced road noise since this is a DD truck as well. The link above is to the exact tire I am looking at. Thoughts?

I've had nothing but good experience with treadwright, and 99% of the reviews I found are very good.

I've heard it squeak a couple times since then. Always on bumpy roads, but only for a very short time.

Well now that I have decided on the tire, I have to locate some steel rims to go with it. I am thinking Black is the way to go with the blue paint on the truck. Still trying to figure out the correct backspacing for the rims. Right now the temp wheels have a 4.5" backspacing, with 32 inch tires. The new tires will measure out at 32.5 inches, so not much more. I don't rub the frame at all right now. Still have plenty of room so I am thinking I can go with as low as 3.5" BS. What do you all think?

Depends on the width of the wheel. You can go with the same you have if you get the same width wheel and tire. Also, I believe those wheels were 4" bs.

I will have to get new rims because the new tires are 16 inch and the ones on the truck now are 15 inch. So now trying to find the right steel ones. I don't care about appearance as much because I expect them to get banged up, so right now cheap is the way I plan to go. The tires I am looking at are saying 7.5 - 9 inch rim width.

I wanted less backspacing; and personally I'm not fond of the bullet holes being so far apart on the wheelers wheels.

Funny thing, I used to HAVE a unicorn that shat $100 bills. However for some reason she would always go outside and do her business in the neighbor's yard.
