Its about 5k with that tractor and trailer. I only tow that setup once in a while, So its hard to justify a bigger truck. I dont think i will win any drag races but I can stop in a hurry with the trailer brakes. Maybe in a year or two I might look into a tundra.

Youre probably looking at less than 5k with that setup. I owned the same tractor (sold it) and hauled it with my 18 foot 7k gvw trailer which had a true weight of 1750 pounds. 2320 isnt very heavy. Good tractor, much better than the BX series, which I also owned a bx23 and a bx24. Both are toys compared to b2320.

Your are spot on. Never had it on a scale. I just looked up everything online. I get around 2518 for the tractor with FEL and BH. and the trailer website says it comes in at 1740 for my 18' Currahee trailer. 4258 total. Someone a while back told me that the backhoe on that is 1500lbs. I kind of doubted that, but never bothered to check it out till now.

We also sprung for the front mount snowblower. Which is the best attachment for me so far. It makes clearing the 1100' narrow driveway a breeze.

What brake controller are you using? I have a 7k trailer hauling kubota L3200, so I'm heavier than you but pretty similar setup. I need to get the controller before I tow with it and ill only be traveling about 10 miles with it. I hear a lot about the Tekonsha controllers but don't really think I need to spend a lot to tow once or 2x a yr.

Get a Tekonsha Primus iq. I got one for my Tundra, bought the Tekonsha wiring thats direct plug in to Tundra and plugged right in, no cutting of wiring or anything. There should be similar Tekonsha wiring for a Tacoma. Total I spent about $115. Its a digital read out controller and doesnt need any leveling adjustments. Works great and you'll want the safety of brakes when pulling a tractor, even if its only twice a year. Who knows, you may tow more.

I have the brakeman digital controller by Reese. It was a breeze to hook up. But then again the truck was already wired for a controller.
