Jadeveon Clowney is a hot topic this week in Athens, Georgia, with the Georgia coaches gushing over his athleticism, as the #6 Gamecocks coming to town.

So, it was wildly amusing when an Athens’ church sign asked, “How do you stop Clowney?”

Related: UNC took a cheap shot at Clowney

The image, which originated on Reddit.com, went viral.

Our good buddies over at SportingNews did some background on the image and contacted the church for authenticity. And the statement and sign were real, but it was part of an ESPN College GameDay promotion.

The message also was featured on the Georgia Theater

He looked more like Puff the Magic Dragon last week, standing on the sidelines, gasping for air. It'll be interesting to see what he does this week.

Since it has been seen on images from multiple games - and from other teams as well - photoshop sounds like a safe bet...

Some funny shit on there!!! The MoneyBadger don't care!

"You got my $20, right kid?"

My son got a chance to get on the field for the last quarter of the aggy - misery game last year. $Badger was just coming out of the game in the 4th quarter, and the broadcasters were talking about his Heisman bid, his great signatures, etc. All eyes were on $Badger in between plays. My son walked up to him during all of this, and $Badger took the time to acknowledge him, pat him on the head, and say “where’s my money bro?”

I thought it showed sass, and I know he scared my son to death. Especially when we found out the moment was caught on the TV broadcast that night.

    Thank you $Badger!

Wouldn't that make it more likely to be a GT fan? You know, nerd status and all?

And I'm sorry if your fan base have illiterate retards. It's not hard to search around the net to find that someone actually did that at the Outback Bowl against Michigan State

I'm not going to keep dragging this on but just wanted to say that I'm not just defending this from a UGA standpoint. I've seen many of these photos for many different teams so I don't believe most if any are real. If they are then we as a country really need to forget about football and focus more on education because I have seen many, many of these photo's for so many teams and you can't tell me that we have that many people that are actually that dumb that they can't spell a simple word. And if they are real then it must be a rival fanbase posing to make fun. And if that is the case they have issues to go to that extreme.

I don't care enough to take time to search for proof. If you feel the need then knock yourself out. I still most likely wont believe it anyway.

dawg is a word? I agree it's bad if they can't spell simple words, but misspelling made up words is even worse.
