If you can get 16 out of it, you're doing pretty well. 2 of my cousins have them, one is the crewmax like yours, one is just the access cab, both with the big V8. One cousin is a little heavier on the gas and never even breaks 12 MPG, the other one is between 16 and 17 MPG.

Well.... I'm officially stumped. This is at 2,000-5,000 rpm. Stays consistent. Only thing I can think of is the battery is dead and not holding a charge.

 

What does the battery read with the engine off? What does it do if you turn on the lights to simulate load testing the battery? Does the battery have a in service date on it. It says not to open but open it and check the level and do a hydrometer test

Battery off it's at 12.6

It just died... Like straight up died. I don't know why either! Turn the key, no neutral light, no brake light, nothing! It was running a second ago!!!! WTF!?!?

My battery still has 12.6, none of the fuses blew. What the fuck happened??? Ughhhh right as I was gonna go for a fucking ride. I wanna throw this in the dumpster. Mother fucking fuck

 

Check the key switch. Does your manuel have a straight line wiring diagram

 

x2, trace the power, check grounds and connectors.

Does it have any safety switches like for the kick stand? Sometimes those can malfunction and make it quit (although the neutral light and headlight should still work).

 

Probably. But usually even with the key off, the bike's brake lights will come on when the brake is squeezed. No dice!
