    A loose ground would be fairly consistent across the volume range. It's worth checking the connections but I'd bet it's inside the amp. Like a cap that's not charging properly.

    Hey I'm a mall crawler, can't get any worse than that...

    Looks like you're just gonna have to cruise blasting the music. But you gotta recline your seat, prop your right hand on the top of the steering wheel, don them shades, put yer hat on backwards, and then take the straightened fingers of your left hand pointed out in a V, then in sych with your head, bob them to the beat of the bass.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Unless of course you listen to classical....
    Hey guys? In regards to mudding...
    Some guy just said that if we spray WD40 on the radiators before mudding, the mud will come right off. Have you guys heard of that before?
    I would go the PAM or other vegetable oil spray route. I do it on the undersides of the fenders on my dirt bike. Works sort of but it's still work to get the mud off.
    You could just use NeverWet. That would definitely work. It's that special spray coating that Rustoleum sells and is extremely hydrophobic. Home depot has it for ~19 bucks in a two-part kit.
    It's not as cheap as WD40, but at least you can be sure that it would work.
    I agree with Ian here, it definitely "sounds" like the amp.
    LOL but Jason's still too far for me, I'm reading on the plastidip website that you can special order through Home depot and such but prices are now different. I think I'm just going to pickup alot of cans and go crazy.
