Tell them you want a tech to ride with you, right now, and you will go for a drive with him. Do what you can to replicate the problem, most time these douches don't do anything but throw up their hands and say "That's normal for this truck". Fuckin dealers

My 2009 does it. Not really an issue. When I first noticed it I would just feather the gas pedal around a corner (where the downshift is felt the most, probably because of slowing down to enter then speeding up to exit) and now it has become enough of a habit that the hard downshift does not occur.

They told me I could leave it with them for a whole day. May do that but I guarantee that's a waste if time.

Did you ask if the brake override software had been done during the pedal chop recall ?

Thanks for the info ya'll. :D

As usual, TW is an awesome resource when the stealership hasn't helped a damn bit!

I haven't had either service done on mine. Toyota dealer I bought from is a block away from work, so will be paying them a visit soon. And I will be reporting back with details of what they say and/or do.

I did not. I was too pissed at that time to function properly.

Lucky guy. I'll still pissed. Mine still does it because the dealership wouldn't do it. Plus they claimed that the tsb was no longer valid.

I've tried two. They claim they can't replicate the issue. I don't them it's sporadic. Mine seems to do it when I slow down around 5 mph and try to turn left then suddenly accelerate. How do y'all replicate it?
