It works for my particular application just fine.

My last AR had a standard grip and it worked just fine too.

I'll basically shoot whatever they give me. My first assigned AR was a military surplus Viet Nam era weapon that was "purchased" by my department for $1. They've all been great.

What's awesome about this is how Jerry, a legend in shooting sports who has been around the block an immeasurable amount of times, is so incredibly to-the-bone excited about this! I mean this guy literally plays with firearms for a living and is still getting his rocks off like this...just proves that you're never too old to have fun! :woot:

    Just giving you shit.

I see no practical aplication to them as they are not very good at being a grip or at being a "pod" but to each their own.

I love my grip pod. Every time we're out shooting my buddies always borrow it.

Haven't posted anything new here in a while.

    Here's a SOPMOD Block II-inspired setup using a complete 14.5" LMT M4 with a Daniel Defense M4A1 RIS II, B5 SOPMOD Bravo stock, and Trijicon TA31 ECOS-G.

    CameraZOOM-20130903142355452_zps85bce899_58b289acb9881cf1bc3dfe851bbfeb0a27eff8f2.jpg

And MK12 Mod 0 built with LaRue upper,Lower, Rail, optic mount, etc., around a Shilen Ultramatch SPR barrel. The optic is a Vortex PST 2.5-10x32 FFP mil/mil.
The neck shots were supposed to be head shots, but the ammo I made was dropping a little short for some reason. From 500 yards, I'll take it.

It's the Troy version which has a more aggressive grip pattern. I like it now, I guess. Took a while to grow on me because I was so used to thumbing the release. All of that stuff can save you milliseconds on your reloads, but it takes practice. Otherwise it's just an instrument of laziness. Haha.

Badass. Was looking at those before I decided to just give my m4 a major makeover. How much does it weigh with the UBR on there?
