I couldn't have said it any better  $900 is a small price IMO for tuner that is made for the Tacoma. I plan to add a TRD SC with a stealth pulley so $900 msrp is minor IMO. I would run the URD stand alone system but they're not out yet for us 13' Tacomas. I already waited about a year since I have my Taco and no stand alone system still. Supply and demand

Not yet. Bully Dog is working to make this compatible on 05-08/12-13 Tacos, as well as waiting to pass the CARB tests to make it legal in CA.

"Cup" and "sex" should never be used in the same sentence Mike.

I too will be following along on this thread to hear about real world results. In my experience, NA vehicles don't show much of any positive gains with OBDII tuners. This one has my curiosity peaked. Besides, they don't yet list one of an 08'.

    TUNING OPTIONS

    Stock
This tune allows the user to download special features and functions.

    Tow
This will give our drivers a higher average horsepower over what they had before as well as a powerful torque improvement that pulls their engine performance to an improved level with an additional 7 horsepower.

    Regular
This will help your engine to show its true power using its inherent but hidden horsepower and torque! Enjoy an additional 9 horsepower!

    Premium
This will give your engine the maximum level of power and torque available! You can enjoy up to 25 horsepower in gains and 30 ft/lb depending on application.

    TUNING FEATURES

    Speed Limiter
This option allows drivers to set limits that will keep their vehicle under a certain speed or remove the speed limiter.

    Shift Points (Auto Transmission)
Change the RPM level at which your automatic transmission will shift gears when the throttle is wide open.

    Driving Coach
The Driving Coach is invaluable for teaching great efficient driving habits. Using momentum and minimizing your acceleration and braking will help your engine access the full mileage available in every gallon of gas that you put in your tank. The Driving Coach uses an efficiency bar to display when you are using your momentum correctly and using a grading system, will develop habits that will benefit your fuel economy. You have the option to use an alert system for when your driving becomes inefficient but of course you can choose to turn off these alerts in the GT T + menu.

    Display
The GT display is the key to a successful tune. With over fifteen vehicle parameters that can be monitored and displayed, you can watch your engines performance and keep tabs on all the measurements you care about. With one screen displaying 4 gauges at one time, and easy navigation, you will see the difference our tuner can make for your engine from a second to second basis. Multiple display options let you change between gauges and a full color display let you customize your screen to your preference.

    Day and Night Mode
This feature offers two modes for your GT T+ display. If switching between day and night modes doesn't happen automatically, simply push the bottom button just to the right of the display screen and your background will go turn black, which dims your GT for minimal distraction for night time driving. Pushing the top button to the right of the display screen will make your display go back to a brighter daytime mode.

    DTC's
Codes used by vehicle manufacturers to identify problems; this information is gathered by the engine computer and accessible through the vehicle's diagnostic port (OBDII).

    Data Logging
Want to record what your engine performance is doing over a period of time? Use the data logging feature to download results from a drive logged for later use. If you want to record engine performance over a period of time, use this feature.

    Performance Testing
Someday, you may get the chance to drive where there are no posted speeds. Take your Bully Dog GT T+ with you, because it's a racing man's best friend. Our GT T+ can give drivers a quarter-mile time and a 0-60 time so you can post a personal best. It comes with a drag tree on display so you can really feel what it's like to unleash your engine.

    Safety Warnings

    Pyro Warning
Your pyro warning will sound when your pyro temperatures become too hot. This can be set up in your GT T+ menu.

    Coolant Temperature
If your car begins to overheat, you will be the first to know with the use of this warning. This will notify when your coolant temperatures are getting too hot. This is customizable in the GT T+ menu.

    Transmission Temperature
This gauge option shows the transmission temperature.

Like I said earlier, I look forward to seeing some real world results/reports with a vehicle similar to mine(08' X-runner). Both measured performance gains and MPG changes if any.

If something like this can prove let's say a 10 hp boost to an almost stock (AFE CAI) and not kill mpg, I'll do it.

Friggin' S.Florida heat and A/C sap the 4.0 big time. When the temps here in the mornings go into the high 40's for instance, my truck drives like it picked up .5 of a liter of displacement and becomes noticeably more responsive.
