    safety first! :D

well you can always get un stuck. as long as you got a high lift you can be by yourself and get out. now breaking and not being able to get your truck out. thats a possibility if all you have is 2wds and quads. but if you got a 4wd with you, you should be fine.
i normally bring some rolled up carpet (easiest way to get unstuck)
i honestly dont see how i would have to leave my truck there if it breaks unless i ripped off whole a-arms or something.

i have been with rails in the dunes that ripped off both a-arms on one side. wasnt too hard to get them out, depending on the driver.

but worst comes to worst there is a snow cat you can hire to get you out, pretty sure its like $100 a hour.

last time i broke my 4wd i was in the big dunes in a tiny deeeeep bowl. i could go 2 feet forward and 2 feet back and thats it. hooked up 4 rhinos with straps and drug my ass out. and it was at 2am lol

id actually have to agree with that!

if your 2wd and you dont have a V-8 and paddles you need to stay out of the big dunes. lol. smaller side dunes are fine.

i have been going out there since i was born, literally, so going on 20 years and we have never had to leave something in the middle of the dunes. we have left and came back the next day to fix a major break on a rail but thats it.

Brian's got the sand driving thing down pretty good. should do good in Glamis. Only bowls/dunes can get huge quick when u start venturing out and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I reach them. U just gotta keep haulin ass and lookin for good lines to keep momentum! No stopping and turning back;)

Well at Dumont you go from sand to packed dirt right away. Most all of glamis flows from dune to dune. I mean there are some g outs, but that goes with ridding in the dunes.

not too bad, i duned my truck with pretty much stock front and rear, the front i plowed into stuff. then i got the front done with air bumps and its butter. the rear will be done by this trip.
brian you can go in the dunes, just not the big guys.

theres always ways around olds to get to the top. a while back me and a buddy got a electric golf cart to the top. took a hour though haha.
