What about putting a 30A circuit breaker inline with the power, so that I don't go through fuses like a motherfucker until I find the short?

 

Ya it can suck. I work 7-3:30 and get in the city around 6 just to avoid the bullshit

 

Sounds like a viable idea to me. Maybe you can just plug into the fuse socket

 

I used to do the same thing when I was working at BMC and Dana Farber. Get in at like 550-6 just to avoid the traffic. It kind of sucked, but was better than sitting in traffic for an hour.

 

Well the guy is supposed to meet me on Sun for my leafs Which means I have extra $$ to spend on the truck.

Haha. Exactly. Shit, I lived in Arlington on Mass Ave at the time and if I left any later then like 615 it would take an hour+ to get into the city. Didn't matter whether I took Mass Ave all the way or 93. So glad i don't have to go into the city anymore. Screw that noise.

 

One of the reasons why I wouldn't move back home. Mass traffic. Gotta deal with it today I hope I don't hit any.

That would work. If you wired in a 30A fuse, you could keep it in there, no need to go back to fuses.

My current drive from EB to Hingham is under 30 min, all backroads, and only 1 school bus maybe.
