What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

on the search for a new tacoma (newer model/less km). dont know if ill go NEW but will do newer.

nope,had my son in law come and tug and tug,hadda drag it about 15 feet till i had something other than mud under me,his blazer took the worst of it lmao,it broke off a tow hook and straightened the other on his,then when he hooked up onto his crossmember part,somehow his bumper cam off next haha.....

 

Oh nothing too major today, just lifted it and slapped some wheels and tires on it

Installed the General Spring leaf pack I had sitting in my living room for a few weeks.

Still need to re-aim my headlights, but the axle-wrap I didn't know I had is gone.

Just cleaning up my wire so it doesn't look like cluster f. I have ham radio, cb radio, air compressor, and aftermarket lights.

I painted my grill toyota badge black today. First mod on my new truck. WHOO!

 

I called and ordered my wheels from them on a Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. and the next day when I got home from work at 4:00 p.m., they were there waiting for me.

 

Installed a 50" led on my buddy's taco
Took forever but we got it done right with a relay & everything, but now his radio whines with the alternator.... Frustrating. Any ideas?

He got his for 600$ out the door when it was listed at 790 sometimes all you gotta do is ask!
The guy has 5-6 more if anyone's interested.

 

Did you have the radio whine before installing the light bar? If not, disconnect the bar from its power source and see if the whine goes away. If not, it could be a ground loop or a bad ground in the audio system. In which case you'll need to check all the grounds. The very best thing is for all the grounds to connect to the same place but that doesn't always happen. Especially if the ground comes from the case of a device.

Crutchfield has a nice guide that's worth having a look at.

I have been modding my color matched for a satoshi. Did my OEM chrome grill as you can see in the pic.....but after derping the chrome and blacking out most everything I kinda like the black up front......almost finished with the colormatched grill but I may sell or keep to swap back n forth........Thanks bro...
