Not a huge noticeable difference, but a difference non-the-less...

diff drops don't help much at all for CV angles. Has more do do with driveline vibes.

I was going for a second set for the ease of painting one set and then swapping the tires over. :D

:( . Then howcome in the Eibach/5100 Gallery thread they swear by the Toytec diff drop kit for improved CV angles?

It still benefits you a bit for vibes..but thats really it. Boot slide mod or putting newer boots on with less fins is the best way to do it. What LT guys do to their tundra axles.

But if it's on the internet it's gotta be true....
    Jk yeah that'll learn me.

Yeah I'll wait till I blow a boot & then do that mod, or look for good boots with less fins

Porche 930 boots are usually the ones LT guys go with.

Alright guys I need help.. I have always said when I do my retro I'm going to black out the housing and the shroud but I have one mocked up and I actually kinda like it as is since my ebay housings have a little BHLM already. So what do you guys think? To black out or not to black out? I have led halos that are going on too.. I know it's my truck and I should do what I want but what I want is opinions ;)

If you black the headlights, you gonna have to do the whole front end IMO....I think it'll look off with the grill surround chrome and everything else black. It looks balanced with the lights how you have them in the pic though. Either way, your call. Looks good both ways.

Didn't think about that.. Baking was super easy too. Rebaking wont hurt the +- wires for the cutoff will it?

Yeah that is the plan if I black them out. I get a lot of shit for leaving the chrome but the only reason it is still there is because it matches the headlights haha

    This one's gonna be tough...

I agree, keep it the way it is now and do it later if you change your mind.
