+1 I have had their 6 ton jackstands for almost 10 years now. I use them when having to get a vehicle high up in the air (ie: pulling transmission), really can't beat the price.

I have a few of their torque wrenches; 1/4" inch pound, 3/8", 1/2" & 3/4" ft/lb as well. My buddy has a bench mounted device to check torque, I check my wrenches twice a year & after 5 years i've never had to have them adjusted. They all check in within 1.2 foot pounds of the marked setting.

Buying tools at Lowe's isn't much better. Just sayin'.

 

Having broken several HF breaker bars, sockets, and extensions, I'd much prefer the kobalt tools at lowes. Still can't beat craftsman for the money.

Cool article on the HF torque wrenches, I'm still not convinced it's a lifetime tool like a snap on or craftsman though.

 

All I buy is snap-on and Mac. But I use them to live.

 

I've never broken any tool of any brand. There's a proper choice of tool for any job, even if all you have is HF. Chrome sockets aren't made for impacting, a piece of pipe is a better cheater than hammering on breaker bars or ratchets, etc etc.

 

At work right now but will be off tomorrow and Sunday.

 

Cleaner than my truck was a week ago...plus mine was mud and GA CLAY.

 

For the second time in my life, I'm presented with the dilemma of doing schoolwork or playing this game...
