Where did you plan on going? I wouldn't mind getting together for an off road meet up. I wanted to get one together last month.

In fact I think we should have one. For starters what would you guys prefer? Meet n greet or off roading?

 

Well theres no reason why we can't do a little of both? Lol I plan ion goin up to Gorman this Sunday. (from what I hear, 4wheel parts has a customer appreciation day there this sunday. Soooo... I'm thinking get a small group together and go show those jeep guys what fun they're missing? Lol

 

Speaking of smog... What codes were u throwing? And I haven't checked my smog yet but its due very soon. What did u do to pass? I'm pushing 255k miles.. and haven't had to smog yet. Trucks newer to me. Any suggestions...?

I was throwing 2 codes..both for O2..but that's cus I swapped my stock headers..stock air intake..back in (from my long tube Doug Thorleys and K&N)..plus I took out the first 2 O2 sensors..so once I put those back in I'm sure the computer recognized them..

I ended up just clearing them and then took her in..no problem..

I think the codes were like P0031 and P0137..(those are off the top of my head..I dont remember exactly..)

I want to do a meet up and do some wheelin behind the old Mesa Marin track..

I just have a few things to jimmy up on my truck before..

-Front bumper
-Fender supports for the rear
-Alignment
-Re-install CB
-Wire up light bars

 

you know thats funny... i was JUST going to order some headers from LCE... when i called to order... they said that they only make CARB legal headers for california.. meaning that if your truck (or car) is carbed, than you can smog it with their aftermarket headers and exhaust... (DAMN CA EMISSIONS)
OTHERWISE its S.O.L for us 2RZ F.I guys...

WHAT TIME WORKS BEST FOR EVERYONE TO MEET IN CASTAIC?

lets all meet up sunday for the 4wheelparts thing?... there is a gas station off the fwy exit in castaic (right befor the fwy climbs the mountain. i believe the exit is PARKER Rd. get off-turn right-first left at stop sign.. PILOT GAS STATION! thers a Wendys inside the Pilot. should we all meet up there early sunday mornin...? maybe do some froadin befor the 4wheelparts thing? I know my way around there pretty well...

 

well the meet starts at 9am you really want to try to squeeze some off roading in before that?
starts at 9am, gonna take us Bako boys a little over an hour to get there...

lets say we meet up at 8am? that'll give us ample time to get there and maybe get some wheelin in before 4WP tries to sell us shit we aren't going to buy

 

haha true... BUT they do give away alot of stuff. ALOT of stuff... they were giving away like lift kits, and wenches, and gift cards-i got 300 dollars worth last year. Lights, you name it. ADN they feed you lunch. lol. but my chances of being able to go, are nigh to zero somethin important just came up yesterday and im trying to see if its gunna work out for me...
