Unbolt winch and put it in Mike's bed, then 8 bolts, lift while pulling backwards and run as fast as Mike can to the back of his truck so he doesn't get overwhelmed by the weight of the damn thing. Easy as shit

Just finished spreading 15 cubic yards of dirt for the new lawn. It's pretty damn humid out!

So I am in the process of replacing my carrier bearing and found I need a press to get the old one off. There wouldn't be any of you guys that might be able to lend some time on your press? Or anyone got an idea how I can get it off without a press? I am having a hard time. I don't want to drive much or far only with the front axles.
This is the Chevy one ton carrier bearing setup I have put together. The top brackets fits perfect in the topside of the cross member.

It is going to face up in the same spot as the current bearing and be bolted on to the cross member in the O holes. Putting the bolts in the large existing holes will give me room for adjustments.

I guess a 3 jaw puller could rip off the rubber then it could get to the bearing/races and see if they can pull it off. Guess I just remember how easy it was with the press when I replaced it in April. Humm might have to do that.

You don't need a press, a puller would work perfectly. Usually auto parts stores will loan them to you. They basically make you buy the tool, but then give you 100% of your money back when you return it. I did that from Autozone for a press to get my LCA bushings out.
