so i hate to say it but i may have to bail on this trip.
about a month and a half ago I lost my job. been playing things by ear hoping i'd have something by now but nothing yet so the trip isn't looking too good. Kylie was even going to fly down for the trip.
i won't know until last minute though, like a week prior to the trip.

haha yes, he's been on every single wheeling trip for the last 2 years

and i know, it sucks. i'm still hoping some miracle happens and i'm able to make it but idk

 

That sucks you lost your job man. Something will come up though, just keep your head up and keep trying and looking and you'll land something.

 

Damn that sucks to hear that about your job man but I think I'm gonna bail on this too. I'm gonna end up having up work that weekend I think so I'm gonna plan on trying to be down there the following weekend for Fall Crawl.

At the park now. I know a little early I know, just checking it out. About 10 atv's in the park on this side of the mountain. Set up in camping ground spot 3 because my wife don't like roughing it. But goi g to go up the mountain and tool around after lunch.

 

The "Putney" camp ground right? Let us know what that trail head from putney is like for sure.

 

Camping spot 3 to me is the best nice open area with portapotties. For those with GPS I will get the numbers.




Camping spot 4 is secluded and has a cool wall but no portapotties and going to tight for more than 10 trucks. The roads to all the camp grounds can be done in a 4x2 stock truck. I would not recommend a x runner going up the road. Camping spot 1 is full hookups and camping spot 2 is just a rocky turn around close to a bunch of cabins. The trail head is nice haven't went too far up because the wife gets scared on a dirt road.

Wow. I'm used to camp spots like at a county park or something where they are like 10' wide by 20' deep. This is a whole new deal for me. So who is reserving the spot?
