So today I had service completed by local mechanic. 07 Tacoma Tacoma pre-runner SR5 TRD with 69,000 miles. They changed my oil , transmission fluid and rear differential fluid. After this I am now having a slight vibration most especially when turning.... Any thougths as to what it may be ?

I know that you're new but I am going to suggest that you add more into your title then just, "help". You're going to get more help by adding more information to your title.

Did they touch anything with the tires, suspension?

    Did they rotate the tires?
Is it more noticed at a low or high speed or does it change as the truck speed changes?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I would bring it right back. They are going to deny it either way, but the longer you wait to bring it to their attention, the less likely they will help resolve the problem.

I'm going to guess that they didn't put the mechanical LSD additive in the differential.

IMO your exactly right. Also some of these tacomas do not like synthetic gear oil if that is what was put in.I had the same problem when I changed the factory gear oil for synthetic.I switched back to non synthetic and no problem since.

No tires or suspension components were touched. It only happens at less than 10mph mainly while turning the wheel left or right. I did not know abou the LSD additive..hopefully that's its

I had this problem on my old 4x4 explorer. after changing the rear diff (200,000 miles!) it started to chatter. adding the friction modifier resolved the problem. it was 'chattering' while making slow tight turns, like in parking lots. the friction modifer wont fix it immediatly, you'll need to give it at least 500 miles or so to resolve itself. adding the modifier resolved my issues.

having said that, do a search and look around on TW because some of our trucks get LSD and others dont, i dont know enough specifically to know which is which but that was the gist i was getting when reading some of the gear oil threads.
