The Depo brand is pretty good.
Body shops will generally use Depo if the customer doesn't want to pay for OEM.

The pattern from Spyder is horrible... stay away from them.

How about the Anzo lights? Any good? Can't seem to find the Depo's that fit my 2011.

I just put in black CCFL spyder halo's and the pattern is good from them, i guess it's just personal preference

Can you do a retro or BHLM using Depo lights reasonably well or are OEM lights the only way to do it right?

The projectors may be better, but I put a set of halogen Spyders on my wife's Rav4 to replace the yellowed OEM and the pattern is terrible.

My retro was with Depo housings.
My OEM housings from '08 were starting to cloud up a bit, so I figured I'd just get a new set and mount the projectors in them.

Being that it's from Amazon, you're pretty much safe if they suck. Amazon has pretty incredible customer service.

Same here (cloudy lenses), so was considering doing a BHLM and retros with new DEPO ( a bit cheaper than OEM) but wasn't sure if they came apart as easy as OEMs.

They're identical... like they could have been made from the same molds.
3 (or 4?) small screws, cook them up, separate a bit, disengage the clips, and they open right up.
