If you want to know the status of the 5300's, call the company and ask. Dgerm is doing enough work packaging some 75+ units for our group buy.

I'll wait patiently because there is no other way.

Thanks a million...got my power Pop-N-Lock 8500 for my 2004 Tundra Double Cab on Thursday and just installed it today in place of the poorly designed Dynolock....it works flawlessly!!! I really like the fact the Pop-N-lock "actively locks" the tailgate lock and not the "passive locking" ie blocking the dynolock use to do.

I am waiting patiently also, but Daniel by his own choice is the point of contact with P & L on this buy and would probably get a straighter answer than any of us.

 

I usually get BS from Maureen to be honest, but straight answers from the CEO. However whenever I call and ask for him, Maureen ends up answering leaving my only means of contact with him email. And that make the time til I get a response unknown. I will do my best to get the latest, but give me til wed. I am currently being mentally raped by school and today is the first time I logged on since last week haha

Daniel, you shipped all the 85xx's right? I just see people getting theirs on the forum here, wondering if mine got lost in the mail since you're only a days drive away.

 

I am really getting more pissed with Pop and Lock. Is Maureen answering the phone and one "Gomer" in the back of the garage assembling packages? I just checked their website and they are still showing their price list for January 1, 2008. What a totally toad company.

I had a first gen Tundra pass me today and I noticed that it had a lock in the tailgate. Toyota dropped the ball on this one.

 

Hey can you check to make sure my order was for the 5200, this is the lock for a 2006 correct? did these ship yet? Thanks

Ok, it's a new week. I just wanted to take a poll to see which excuse P & L will use on the PL5300 this week.

A. We are waiting on the position of the moon to change

B. The dog ate our locks

C. Were waiting for our government bailout package

D. They will be ready next month

 

Well... I called them and they said the first shipment went out last Friday. So that means, the awnser is "E" They got lost in the mail.

 

i almost forgot i ordered one of these....
Hopefully they come in soon.

 

DGerm, apply the power of numbers and convince them that you need to be one of the first few orders out (if not the first). I'm sure they have a LOT of vendors waiting anxiously for their orders to be sent out...let's hope that doesn't push us down the list.

The problem is that we are one-time purchasers. Their vendors are their regular customers and they would rather please them than the one-time buyer.

 

Daniel, how about a status report on the 5300's.

 

I sure hope they send us quality products, because I'll be pissed if I have to wait months for something to arrive and it doesn't work worth a shit!

 

Is there an update on the PL8520, are they still waiting on the 5300 or will they ship them out separatly?

 

Yo, Daniel. I see in your profile that you are participating in other threads in this forum but not responding to this thread for some reason. I know you have busted your chops on this group buy but you started this and you need to see it through.

An update would be appreciated.
