x2 I got my sliders. For all we know he could have gotten an infection and he is back in the hospital. I know he is good for them.

 

I believe that he is a good man. I hope nothing is wrong with him. Has he had problems in the past?

 

Maybe lightning struck and took out his internet!!!

hey guys sorry was in the hospital for a week but now back in full swing... will have everyone's sliders out this week... no more excuses just getting down to making everyone happy... i apologize to everyone for my lack of communication on this stuff i am just overwhelmed but have hired a couple guys to get these out faster than i can by myself...

 

just got back in town, and read all the updates. i hope no one pursues legal action, and derek - hope ya feel better mang. and honestly BRAVO for hiring more staff! i hope work keeps coming at you, and you can expand even further. in this economy, i love to hear that people are getting so much work they need to hire more crew.

He didn't hire any staff.... he's a master conniver. Believe him if you want.

 

Nope, but from my experience with him he is just a late-twenties asshole who happens to be good at forming metal into awesome shit for our trucks, THAT IS IT. I'm surprised he can even keep a business running, let alone know what needs done when hiring people. My "proof" is on the past 32 pages, and the future 32 more that have yet to be written because some of you guys believe him...

1. His last post before this, ONE MONTH AGO, not a week ago when he wasn't in the hospital.... so Derek where were the updates for the other 3 weeks?

2. LOL at "will have everyone's sliders out this week" I don't even need to say anything... someone should go through all 33 pages and see how many times he's promised this.

 

I understand your point of view, but you cancelled your order, therefore have lost bitching privledges in this thread. Or do you get so much amusement out of bad mouthing Derek that you have to keep revisiting this thread?

 

wow, you ordered a special order item and then backed out which i gave you a refund on... not sure of any other company that would give a full refund on a special order item...

i am a man of my word and everyone will get there sliders... i haven't been on the computer much due to working my ass off on alot of sliders, bumpers, and local full builds... say what you want about me as i deserve it for falling behind and not communicating which i hold myself responsible for... sorry for my bad communication everyone i will be on every night to answer questions and update everyone...

Try asking the folks who have ordered other sliders how long they waited for theirs. While Derek may not have been the best at estimating ship dates and/or letting folks know what was going on....he'es still pretty much on pace with lots of the "big" companies that will tell you it'll be 8-12 weeks to start with.

You got your money back- so you got what you wanted....Quit whining.

derek, i understand your job does not take you near a computer daily as mine or some others do... plus, i'm ancy waiting to hear back from you...

BUT

i think we've addressed the main issue we have here, and that is a lack of communication - would you mind giving us _at least_ weekly updates? it's been exactly a week since you posted in the thread, which is why i mention it today.

the lack of communication is causing (what i hope is) a perceived lack of progress. i don't think that's asking too much at this point - no offense, truly, but if the initial estimates timewise were even remotely feasible i don't think anyone would be worried or concerned... thanks for your understanding.

 

that lasted all of 2 days...





i'm trying to be as patient and understanding as possible and i believe i have been more so than anyone would expect one to be in this situation... i'm not asking for everything to be shipped out tomorrow... just honest and reliable communication.

derek, you have a lot of my money and i don't think this is too much to ask
