Where is the best place to buy I wanna buy a double din head unit dash kit and wiring harness along with steering wheel controls. Where's the cheapest and best place to get these things without ordering them piece by piece off eBay or Amazon.

Crutchfield.com can provide ALL items you ask for. Just leave the "cheap" part out. You can save money by sourcing the parts yourself.

In June I purchased my HU from them, but got my options from others. The steering wheel control from Crutchfield was $80.00. Amazon was $30.00.

They charge a premium for the support they provide.

If you care about having warranty from the manufacturer, you should watch out who you buy from.

Just to add to the subject , I purchased through ebay and had a sub covered under warranty. No questions asked.

Now if your not very knowledgeable with installing car audio and etc, and think you might need help. Crutchfield tech support is top notch I hear so maybe pay the extra $ and buy from them .

Crutchfield hands down. I've installed multiple systems for family and friends, as well as myself, all through crutchfield. Everything is supplied with purchase including speaker brackets, harnesses, dash kits, etc. always my number one source.

Crutchfield has some great sales sometimes I always check them first. I just pieced together a killer system from them for around $700. I did go to Amazon for the wiring and sub box. Just shop around a bit. I generally stay away from Ebay for electronics or wearable parts.

I've done all my installed in the past the only two things I'm not 100% sure on is the parking brake bypass and hooking up the steering wheel controls.

Crutchfield gives you the kit/harnesses for free usually. Was it still cheaper on Amazon?

I bought my headunit through Crutchfield because the prices were pretty set.

My amp, sub, speakers, etc. all through a guy on eBay who I had him give me a package price. Turned out to be cheaper than if I bought them on eBay separately from the cheapest ones in "sold listings". good dela that way.

What I did for the parking break override was hook it up to a switch that was grounded
