I did mine at 30k and the ones I put in are good for 100k so I will look at then at 60k and see how they are.

Toyota recommends 30k for the v6. I always recommend you stay with the stock plug. Thats the plug that an engineer that makes way to much money was paid to decide goes into that engine.

 

Man before I lifted mine I was able to get underneath mine no problem. How in the world are you needing ramps? I am 6'6'' 335 and my big ass got under there when I changed out the rear diff fluid, tranny oil, and engine oil.

I can get under it fine. but if i had the ramps it would make it a little easier. plus i want to clean/wash and go over everything under the truck. wash the frame, and under side of cab, the whole 9. i do what i can reach without getting under it every time i wash the truck. i’m kinda ocd about it.

edit, now i know if i see a 6’6 dude walking to a white lifted taco it’s you. so if a 5’8” 130 guy with his keys on a TRD tacoma lanyard yells your name it’s probably me.

mine locks on its on, radio powers on and off on its own, and drl lenses are about burnt up. Had to pry my rear sliding window open twice this week.

Finally got everything installed and working right. No trimming or removal of anything except bed storage boxes.

 

Looks good... I had to remove the trike behind my seat for my 13tw5 in Mr. Marv box... Even the thing sub was still hitting against that plastic piece. You haven't had any trouble with that so far?

 

Question for all you backup camera gents...

Is it worth it? I am so used to having one in my previous vehicles, and I really miss it. Anyways... Found a handle, camera and harness for the tailgate for $150 that is new... My question is, how hard would it be to get the correct mirror and harness that would go back to the tailgate?

Any input would be much appreciated...
