I run 50 psi on all 4 of my tires. I've often debated running less in the rear but IIRC the manual says to run the stock tires all at the same psi.

Stock 265/70/16 are listed at 32 front, 28 rear IIRC. Should be listed in the driver side door jamb.

I used the stock rear supports. A little creative bending is all it takes...

    Yep.
    Thanks :)

Will be cutting a section out of the middle and plastic welding them back together so the bottom lip can be retained. Might start the measurements today.

How much did you take off the rear? I'm still undecided on 1.5" or 2".

i'll measure for you. i just took off from the front, the amount that made the flares line up with the bumper, then took the same off of the back. it was somewhere between 1.5 and 2

You might have seen them before but defined engineering makes bedside supports for the oem bedsides that are high clearance. They look pretty burly and are only $50

Hmm... I may have to play with that some more but when I tried to do it I recall it not even being close to reaching... my bedsides flap a little in the wind on the freeway.

i'm sure it's like 4 times the cost, but icon makes rear links for the FJs, and i would assume for the 4runners as well. absolutely beautiful components. billit aluminum adjustable links with steel skids recessed into the underside so you don't chew up the aluminum.
