Looking at that option too, lot more logistics involved though. I have almost a year to plan so we'll see what happens. Also dependent on if the GF can get a whole week off work as well.

Poughkeepsie is the hardest. The Wall is very tricky. You need to do sort of a zig zag line to get up it. But if your locked in the rear and have good suspension travel you should be okay with a good spoter.

Or there are tons of winch points now too.

Blackbear really wasn't that hard to drive. Hell we did it in the rain on The Steps which your never supposed to do and didn't have any issues. But you'll want a good spotter as well for it.

So bring a trustworthy friend along and you'll have no issues most likely.

I'm admittedly a total newb, but it is nice to see my improvements over the months :) Day to day, good things come with consistency!

Should've put a little description on this. This is my truck's headlights and LED light bar. Love just messing around with the lighting on my D70 :D

Only 2 weeks into the season, and got a couple decent shots so far. Starting to get back into the swing of things. I think I tried to use my 100-300 f/4 too much this week, didn't get very good shots like I did last week. Granite the place we played this week had terrible lighting.

What camera did you have before? I would venture to say that with what you had posted before, you dont need a d3s. A quick check on ebay netted a range of $3-4k. I would suggest an equivalent to the d7100 or d600.

Panama City Beach, Florida. My favorite beach to date. My iso was a little high. Still love these shots though. Plus they were more clear before I uploaded them. What do you think?
