    where was a post on the fj boards about the snokel and better hp and he proved it on the dyno.. its wasnt much like 4 hp but he gained better mpg with it.

    My snokel is modified no looking under the hood :).. All i can say is my temp is between 15 and 20+ degrees colder by my scangauge with the snokel on it. its not just for water people..

    DUST? nope use a turbo 2 model 24 its spins dust out;).. and made in america..

    LOL that tech has been around for 30 years plus..

    no he is saying its made for dust more then water. More specifically the dust clouds as you follow another rig.

    Yep! The snorkel was designed in the desert to help prevent dust getting into the intake. Exactly why I want one pretty bad!

    Especially considering that I see intake temps 2-3* hotter than ambient outside temp if traveling over 30MPH...

    I have a stock airbox with the deckplate mod done to it.

    Thats what i was getting before the snokel or higher i was in the 10 plus range..... Now only down side is the sound the snokel makes when it get real hot outside besides that you dont notice its there...

    I did some testing of my own blew about 50 bucks on hit or miss before i got it right... :eek:
