New axillary reverse lights! Blitzpro 6LZ LEDs. Mounted into the receiver with some stainless steel hardware and Nylock nuts so I do not have to worry about vibrations. They are wired to a switch as well as to the stock reverse lights! Relay is hidden behind driver taillight (no picture).

    Looks really good man.
But does it not defeat te purpose of the relocated trailer pin hook up?

Thanks! I suppose to some extent it does. I don't wheel that often, and I figure my ball will hit first. I only moved the hook up for preventative measures. Never damaged it, just don't want to have to worry about it.

Technically it started six days ago. A fresh coat of wax as I had plans to get it nice a dirty with a few hundred km of gravel road and it sounded like rain. Next day it was loaded with supplies to last 4 days in the bush between Nordegg and Hinton AB. Added Canopy and Chain saw next day.

    Then off for some relaxation.

    Abraham Lake

    Crescent Falls

Next day started out great but turned to rain that night. Thank heavens for new Canopy and remembering a tarp

The fish don't mind a little rain so out I went.

Caught a few of these scrappy little guys on a fly.

Unfortunately after two days of fishing I had to start heading home but not before a quick hike, some very slimy driving conditions and some fog. I was very happy for the good ground clearance and traction provided by the Tacoma. The Forestry Trunk road was a mess.

I eventually ended up at the Cardinal Divide but had to back track due to a wash out 6.5km south. Oh well I made it.

So that is what I have done to my Tacoma in that last few days. I used it as it was intended. Today I hauled a load to the dump. Not near as exciting.

It is from Mountain Equipment Co-op. Their guide tarp I think it was. Packs super small and drys very fast. Made out of same material as tent fly. $70. Just looked they have several different ones since I bought this one
