Where to get a HI LIFT

Do most people order them online??

is there any stores that carry them to avoid the shipping?

i noticed there are several models... any that are better than the others?

i have a 3" lift and have no plans of going bigger... will the 36" one suffice?

i don't know if they have them in your area or not, but Tractor Supply Co. keeps one model in stock...not sure which. they also have the offbrand "Farm Jack".

 

I got mine from 4wheel parts had it shipped to store for free delivery.

 

I have not measured mine, but I got it for $40 bucks from a guy I work with. Id check craigs list first I have found a few on there cheap as well.

 

Can you use a hi-lift jack anywhere on a stock part of do you have to have sliders in order to raise the truck?

 

They have the wheel attachments, so you can use the wheel. I have never tried it or seen it done but I saw that they have the attachment to do so.http://www.hi-lift.com/accessories/lift-mate.html

Nice setup Silver! ^^^ I also want to get a high lift jack in case I get a flat or something one day. But I don't have any sliders, just nerf bars.

 

Got yah. Now where is a good place to get some sliders and for a descent price? Remember, my truck doesn't off-road to much so I don't need top quality sliders. I would like to get some that bolt on if they make them like that? But I also want something that looks good too.

 

Get the 60! A friend of mine in his STOCK tacoma was stuck in some rough mud, we lifted the whole rear up out of the mud and enough to build it up underneath, and we were struggling with the 60.

 

Trailer hitch! I used that to lift the ass end up and out of ruts of snow when I buried it to the frame on a seasonal use road. Then pushed it back onto solid asphalt. Just backed right out after that when 30 minutes of screwing around with 4Hi, 4lo, locker, rocking, and digging didn't do squat. The Hi-Lift had me out in 5 minutes.

How about brand? I had a Jackall before, it worked fine and a few of my friends said they preferred it over the Hi-Lift brand.
