I was just driving normal when some slow poke was riding in front of me so I decide to pass, and before I passed I turned on my ect power button. Immediately after passing I see that my check engine light is on. so I pull out my obd II scanner and its throwing a code for: PO741 TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE OR STUCK OFF. I have been looking online and all I can find is the the torque converter lockup clutch. from advance, I don't know what it is or what it does but it can't be good. Please help...

Why turn on ect just to pass? Truck should downshift and be fine unless you were seriously loaded. Subd to see what it turns out to be.

My check engine light went off after replacing a blown fuse, checked my transmission fluid last night, it was fine while hot. But low this morning so I added some. I have read that the ect will not turn on if the transmission fluid is at a lower level and I guess it put it under enough strain to blow a fuse
