If I didn't have sliders with kickouts that went all the way to the fender, mine would be destroyed.

 

the originals from trs that I currently have aren't as bright or as wide which im fine with but the leds go out and then it looks dumb

 

this may not have helped you in this situation or it might have. I read the best way to break bolts loose is a 50/50 mix of atf fluid and acetone or paint thinner

 

is it really that much more expensive for extra cab sliders? those will only function as a step. why not just buy tube steps?

 

since he got fill plates with them..id guess its about the same price as extended size ones without fill plates..have to look on the site i guess.

I kind of wish I would have went with the stronger type. I don't know if it helps, but I have some pretty deep gouges in the tube.

 

so the hrews. i was thinking about getting the hrews but now that u said u have gouges in them might have to get the dom ones.

 

Didn't think Jerry offered a difference in tubing..didn't when i ordered. No idea what mine are. But they have taken all the hits awesome.
