It's in Central Florida. Prob a 3-3.5 hour drive for you. They usually make a weekend out of it tho...most people will go and camp, so that you aren't driving an entire day and wheeling for a few hours.

Google Citrus, Fl and you'll see where it's located.

For pics/vids go to youtube or the links that Fink provided. I'll see it as soon as I can. I am bombarded with work this week. 62 hours worked not including 13 hours by end of day today. :(

    Fink,

Thank you VERY MUCH for those pics you posted. This is the type of terrain that I have been hoping to drive through since I started doing this last year. I was hoping to find this at JW Corbett but it wasn't so due to so many trails closed. In Miami, the 8 st location is bone jarring in some spots. The only place that looks promising down here (thanks to the vid that Jmangone posted) is Homestead. Citrus is also no where near as flat as South Florida. I also like how Citrus looks more like Georgia (atleast to me) than Florida. I like Georgia.

    Anyways, thanks again.
    :)

If we can plan this out I think well end up with a pretty big convoy.
Tac1, I think you and me are probably the furthest south to start the
    convoy haha.

Yea for me its about 2.5 hours to Orlando and then it's about an hour NW from there....So add on time from Miami area up here, that's a long ride.

I have tons of pictures on my computer but it'll take a day to upload them somewhere....

I posted this in the Homestead Hump thread but I originally intended to post them here.
Here are the pics of my 285/70r17 GY M/T's, Load Range D. I'm surprised at how well the truck drives. I thought they would vibrate but they don't. The truck doesn't feel like it has lost power.

BTW, Ever since I installed the 3/1 leafs (from a 2012 Sport) & Wheelers 3 Leaf AAL my axle is shifted 1/2 an inch to the right. Look at the first 2 pics & tell me if I should be concerned or am I worrying over nothing. I kind of tend to over-stress certain things.

Has anyone hammered their pinch weld? If so I'd like to get some help doing that. I need to do that and pull my front fender flares off (even though I'm getting new fenders soon anyways.. I just would like to see what it looks like without.)

Yea I had to beat the crap out of mine for the tires to fit. Also added spacers. Couldn't even turn more than 3/4 or tires would run pinch and frame.

Took off the fender flares and sold them to another member. Just a couple clips holding them from underneath if I remember correctly.

But as far as the pinch weld, we took a hammer and beat it down to the side. Then i painted over mine when we did it.

Yea I've tore up the whole truck at least twice.

I took off the flares to paint them cause when I got the truck, the clear coat on the one started flaking off. Then after a failed attempt at sanding and painting, I looked at the truck and liked the way the body looked without and sold them to another member on here.

So Fink... up for helping a guy out?
I only need to hammer them back half an inch or so.

You should be able to cut the wheels all the way one direction and get in there to hammer it over and flat...unless it catches the tires now then you'll have to jack it up and drop the tire first.

This was posted by me on the Homestead Hump Thread also. I just want to make sure enough people see it & give me their input.
    Thank you.

I would like for you to look @ Post #348 in this thread. Please let me know if you think these tires will be OK for the meet. My concern is there size, not tread: 285/70r17.

There is no rubbing even when steering from lock to lock but as you can see in the pics they come close. I'm not worried if I happen to damage a mud flap but I will be very upset if I yank off a fender flare in the process. Should I remove the front mud flaps just as a precaution or does it look as if I have enough room to off-road without issue?

I have another set of FJ wheels which I plan to buy 275/70r17 BFG A/T's for but I would like to use these for a while since I got all 5 of these for a great price & they ride better than I expected. They hum but I have ZERO vibes & I bought them this way & just slapped them on the truck.

    Seeking your opinion.
    :)

I would remove the mud flaps...they are going to get damaged eventually, why run the risk...

Mine on my 2011 were off when I realized they scraped speed bumps...

That makes sense. Mine are trimmed by 2 or 3"'s but, like you said, why run the risk?

    Thanks
