Oregon and Washington BS thread

Seattle ideally, mainly cause of the number of jobs there, but anywhere from Canada to Portland and near the Cascades is the plan at this point.

 

If you decide on Seattle, try and live on the east side or north of Seattle. Anywhere round here is good so we'll look forward to having ya in the PNW

Of course, I've never used it as leverage against a tree while the truck was moving but I stick it out there more often than I should.

 

If you want to live anywhere in the PNW I recommend the cascades since I personally go to the cascades more than anywhere else because of the beauty of the area

 

x2 especially coming from the east coast, don't get me wrong it's nice over there but you guys don't have the towering mountains like out west. It's awesome to look at every day

 

Yeah, that's a big part of what's sold me on the area. Been out to Rainier and the surrounding area a couple times and cant wait to see more of it. Also tired of months of humid 90 degree Virginia summers, hopefully dealing with a little more rain is a fair trade.

 

10 months a year of rain, and its not usually real rain. It is what I like to call standard Washington drizzle. High temps around here mean getting up to 80 in the summer.

Last night, one of my dogs was trying to keep me up throughout the night because he was scared. There was a hell of a light show from the lightning from about 8 pm. I was watching it head south, the it was finally over me about 1030, and it was really the thunder keeping the dog awake. Last night though, there was more than 15 seconds between lightning. It was crazy.

 

Yeah, my dogs hate the thunder. I think it's badass.

I'm from LI, NY; and think the PNW is awesome. I also spent a few years in NE TX - talk about hot & humid!

We don't get thunder storms very often. Last night's was impressive. I'm glad that I had mostly indoor work to do on Harbor Island, because it was raining like a sumbich.

Haha that's possible, Just changed my air filter and tightened my chain, Just have to get a filter and change my oil. I'm sure its nasty with all those corners I was railing in 4th gear!

I'm sure you do, but never know you could end up layin it over in a corner My goal is to keep riding tracks and practicing twice every pay check. I need to get faster. We gonna race the Woodland series on nice days?
