Not the price range you are asking about, but the Zero Tolerance 0301 has been
my EDC knife for since about 2006. I work in the oilfield and have beat the sh*t out
of it and it has never failed me. You can tell I have sharpened it a few times and will
probably have this buried with me when I kick the bucket.:dancingbacon:

I've carried a Kershaw for years...can't recal the model.

It's black, 3" blade and spring loaded. Best little damn knife I've had

Just found my next EDC knife I will pick up in a week or 2.
Its a pre-worn looking Zero Tolerance 0300BW Blackwash.
It is almost exactly like my 0301 except the color scheme.

I have some knives for sale. A kershaw leek, a kershaw needs work, and a kershaw chill. All great edc choices. Let me know if you want to pick one up!
My personal edc is a spyderco tenacious.

That ZT is nice but holy shit, $300! I'd be afraid to walk outside with something that expensive. I got my scallion today and its a pretty sweet little knife, but damn its LITTLE! I didn't realize how small it would be, but that's ok. Clipped to my pocket I forget its there and it's small enough to be legal if I drive into boston or worster. Here's a couple pictures:

It's very neat and the knife is crazy sharp! So far, I definitely like it. I really liked my Gerber but I'm a big fan of the new Kershaw

I might have to get myself a blur now! If its anything near as cool as flicking open this little scallion I know I'd love it. My truck needs a knife for the days I forget to carry one and as a "just in case " thing.

The only thing I'm 'on the fence' about is the tanto tip. I was on the fence about it when I bought and still am. I do like it, just not sure if I like the shape of the blade better than a traditional curved blade. As time goes on, I'll see if I can find more uses for that type of tip and see how I feel about after the first time I have to sharpen it, haha.

I was skeptical about the tanto blade too...so my Blur is the traditional curved blade with partial serration

Oh I totally agree. I just lose stuff too much to carry something that nice :(

Good lord that's a sexy blade.... I might have a temporary shortage of funds in the near future due to that.

Nice! Knew you'd like it. Everyone who plays with mine always hands it back grudgingly. :D

Yeah, the scallion is a wee blade. My Sister has one, and it's tiny by comparison.

And the Blur is way more fun to flick open. But as mentioned, I'm not a fan of the Tanto blade. Like Tiger I have the traditional curved blade with the partial serrations. Very very handy.

My wife hates the spring loaded opener. I took it out of the packaging and said 'Hey, watch this' and flipped it open. She just shook her head and walked away.

That's how you know it's a winner!

It's always amusing when nurses ask me to cut bracelets off patients thinking I carry scissors.

    *Sccchtt!*

    "There you go." :D

    "Uuuhhhh....thanks?"
