Yup, by the pictures that looks like it! LOL, I don't pay attention much to details like that. I know it like turns on and stuff though! LOL

There's so many details that people ask me on the truck and I'm like... Uhhhh, I don't know... And the next question is dude, didn't you build the truck? And I'm like yeah, but I didn't care about that info while I was doing it... LOL Amount of travel the truck has is always a good one! People are always like "dude, how much travel does it have?" Uhhhhh, I don't know, I've got it written down somewhere I think though. I didn't care about the number, I cared more about the percentage of bump compared to down and once it was dialed in, I even forgot about those numbers too! LOL I've got a book with all the details like that written down in for future needs! I need my brain space for important stuff like lyrics to 80's songs...

I dont think I have used that one, but you can obviously track and plot waypoints and save them. View tracks with color based on speed or elevation. You can import tracks from google maps that you make or any .kmz file (baja 500 and any other major race course has .kmz files). You can squawk your position live to anyone else with the app, or even make a link for someone to watch your track live from a browser. Only downside is you have to have a signal for the maps to load but you can preload the area your going to, and without a signal the gps doesn't work well on a phone

How much area can you preload? MotionX will preload maps but it takes forever and you can't download satellite maps anymore. Does GPS kit download and store satellite maps?

GPSKit is awesome. It can download as much as the device has storage. It also works with Bluetooth and hard wired GPS units if your device doesn't have the GPS chip.

You can use their maps or google maps. I use google terrain maps and they are awesome.

If you have a true GPS unit in your device and not an aGPS unit you can still get full functionality if you don't have cell signal.

All cell iPads and the iPhone 4S and up have true independent gps units in them.

Best $10 iv'e spent on the truck.

I've seen It being used with Jim's iPad set up, it's 10x better with a bigger screen

It was nice to have during this weekends race. I used it to plot a short cut across the race course from pit to pit so we can take the same road over and over.

sooo... quick question, how much play is the carrier bearing supposed to have? I would say mine has close to .75" play... I've just started to get a bad freeway vibe and I think this may be the cause.

Yea i had a bad squeal/squeak from mine, thought it was the carrier bearing so i replaced it added a BEEFED 1.5'' drop..got worse. Turns out my rear U joint was shot. Added axle shims after i replaced it and now have a near perfect straight drive shaft.
