Out of the frame and into the garage, got rid of all the fuel, got rid of the frame (Pacific Steel in Osino)

Now she's just sitting and waiting...

So heavy and long though, it'll be interesting trying to get her in there. We'll see if I can do it all in one shot. May end up having to separate engine/trans.

It'll be a while yet though.

I'm not going to lie, it's pretty daunting... I think I'm just going to have to go balls deep and make it up as I go... It's so awkward and heavy. Once it's in I can figure out the rest easy enough.

Need a few more things first...

It's all in your head I promise. I've felt that way with literally every major project on my truck (and trailer for that matter). I stopped thinking about the end goal and made micro goals and it turns int a walk in the park. I'm sure it'll end up boss no matter what.

Had you been further a long in this process when I saw you in Big Creek you should have stuck around a bit and talked with my buddy. That huge blue 1 ton chevy that was there has a Cummins/NV4500 in it, before it was in that it was in his blazer on tons. The blazer took him a few years, the 1 ton he did in about 2 months, including the 4 link front. I know they are completely different animals, but if you run into any snags, and need some ideas, let me know. I can get you his number. Oh and

Thanks TJ! Is that the blazer from Battle Mountain? I think you sent me a youtube link once.

ONCE I have it sitting in the frame with all the mounts burned in... then it's all little things, mostly... I'm less intimidated anyway

I can get it all wired in, I'm feeling okay about the speedo/tach/starting and charging system/fuel/clutch linkage

I've seen a lot of CUSTOM shifter linkages for t-cases and such and I'm hoping mine won't be so complicated, I'd love it if the stock stuff worked out, and I think it just may... from pictures I've seen anyway.

Feeling a little iffy about plumbing the AC, but I think I can figure it out.

Then I need the new axles under it so I can run the hydroboost brakes and hydro assist steering -- which I'm feeling a little iffy about but I'll do more research there as I get closer. Shouldn't be too bad.

Not sure about radiator/power steering cooler/intercooler(aftercooler), neither what I'm going to run or how it'll fit.

But I need a welder and I need an engine hoist, I keep borrowing stuff...

and I need to make more monies.

So yeah I guess that's pretty well the plan... if a plan at all...
